
One thing CA4 excels in is the amount of assets it comes with, but they tend to look same-ish if you've seen enough of them. Custom characters you have to make a PSD with parts in their ordering which feels limiting especially if you work with any teams or freelancers it's another thing that has to go right. Unfortunately custom drawn characters have to be made in another program and it's not as easy to rig as Moho for my uses.
Everything in it is pretty streamlined once you get the workflow.Ĭartoon Animator is easy enough to use. Personally I find Moho is easier to rig my drawn characters and it helps that you can draw vectors right inside of the program too. It really depends on your goals but I'll try to give a rundown on the pros and cons.
